Our
Story

Who we are and what we do

We are a part of the Repair Cafe International Foundation

Our mission is to bring repair back to the heart of local communities. Our goal is to maintain and spread repair expertise, while promoting social cohesion by bringing together people from all walks of life.

A Repair Cafe is pop-up workshop which encourages community camaraderie and the reduction of items being sent to hard waste by repairing broken items and teaching people how to utilise tools to make their own repairs at home.

At Knox Repair Cafe, we offer a variety of repair services for items such as clothing, furniture, electronics, and appliances. Our skilled repair experts are passionate about fixing broken items and giving them a new life, instead of throwing them away and contributing to the growing problem of waste and environmental damage.

Knox Repair Cafe is more than just a place to fix broken items. It's also a community hub where neighbors can come together, share knowledge, and learn new skills. We believe that repairing items is not only good for the environment but also for building strong, supportive communities. By working together, we can create a culture of repair that promotes sustainability and social cohesion.

We welcome everyone to our Repair Cafe, regardless of their background or experience with repair. Whether you need help fixing something, want to learn new repair skills, or simply want to connect with others in your community, we invite you to join us. Together, we can make repair a part of the local community once again.
